Hand immemor [manuscript] ca. 1916.

Autograph poem written by William Winter as an elegy to the late Ada Rehan. Note by Jefferson Winter on back: "This is the final draft--To be placed in my own copy." First line: "I think I am not as bereft." In an envelope with a news clipping picture of Rehan and a manuscript menu for a luncheon given by Mrs. Ellen Mary Webb and her father at Newstead Abbey September 10, 1897. The menu is signed on the back by Ada Rehan, Augustin Daly, Mrs. G.H. Gilbert, W. Jefferson Winter, and William Winter.
